Next year will be important for the world's youngest children. With the first ever International Finance Summit for Early Childhood taking place, we have an opportunity to make the case why governments around the world should invest in the early years.

We know that 90% of a child’s brain development takes place between birth and the age of five. That’s why it’s crucial decision makers should prioritise quality early childhood services, such as quality childcare, healthcare and family friendly policies.  

Over the Summer, 14 Act For Early Years Youth Champions will consult their communities about the future of early childhood development they want to see. Their findings will appear in a Youth Vision Statement, which will be presented to decision makers at the upcoming summit.
